Minnesota Institute of Horn of Africa Studies (MNIHAS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting communities and creating opportunities, fostering global understanding of East Africa and its diaspora through community engagement and international relationships, while also enhancing Minnesota’s presence on the global stage.

MNIHAS connects communities and creates opportunities through education, research, and engagement, supporting East African immigrants and fostering cultural understanding and global partnerships.
