The Minnesota Institute of Horn of Africa Studies (MNIHAS) is a non-profit organization that supports East African immigrants and new Americans in Minnesota and surrounding areas. It promotes diversity, community connections, and career success through education, research, and community engagement.

MNIHAS produces research-based analysis to better serve the community and works to foster a deeper understanding of East Africa and its diaspora locally and globally by building trust and expanding international relationships.
